Chapter Description

In ancient China, an aged martial artist lives high atop a windy peak. He has begun to feel the need of a suitable successor for his technique. His disciples train hard, but only one will come to harness their master's power.

Chapter Mechanics

This chapter plays out much like a normal RPG game only that the enemies are visible on the map so battles can be avoided if the player chooses so. What makes the chapter unique is the gathering of three disciples in any order: Lei Kugo, Hong Hakka and Yun Jou.

As the chapter is named, a disciple will inherit the Shifu's skills once trained. Only one disciple will learn the Shifu's technique so care must be taken in who is chosen as they all have their own strengths and weaknesses. When training begins, focus should be placed in only one disciple and during training since they get stat increases afterwards. By the end of the chapter if done correctly the disciple will have all of the Shifu's skills learned and will be stronger than him.

Disciples and Attributes

  • Lei Kugo - Found in the Bamboo Forest, Lei has an excellent Speed stat and balanced stats which allow her to excel in battle with quick skill charge times and movement.
  • Hong Hakka - Found in Yunfa Market, Hong is has very high Power, Vitality and HP Stats. However, he falls short in Speed and IQ. He excels in tanking hits and attacking with raw power despite his low speed.
  • Yun Jou - Found in Wong Village, he has a very slow start being the weakest of the three except that he has a very high IQ Stat. After leveling up, he can catch up to the other inheritors. He excels in technique power, as he gets a variety of techniques that base off his high IQ.

Boss

The boss of this chapter is Ou Di Wan Lee. he is the leader of a rivaling school who practice Indomitable Fist. He can be easily beaten by using Earthen Heart's ultimate technique, Heavenly Peaks Descent, followed by whatever other attacks the disciple has as it can only be used once.

Scenario Endings

Trivia

  • Despite the common belief, it is possible to spread out the training equally among the three successors. You get three training sessions with four matches per one, thus 12 matches in total. However, if you choose to do so, then Sammo will get the priority to become the successor. If you decide to spread out the matches evenly between Li and Yuan only, then Li will get the priority. [1]
