Kazuhiko Shimamoto

Kazuhiko Shimamoto (島本和彦) is a Japanese manga artist. He served as the character designer of the Near Future chapter for the Super Famicom version of Live A Live.

Shimamoto has worked on a large variety of projects, some of his most famous including Honō no Tenkōsei, Aoi Honō, and the remake of Skull Man.

In 2018, Shimamoto began publishing a multi-part doujinshi based on The Outsider, adapting and greatly expanding upon the story. These doujinshi would be officially published by Square Enix in a compilation, as part of the Live A Live 2nd Collector's Edition in 2023. He would later publish adaptations of The Lord of Dark and The Dominion of Hate.
