Hayate

Hayate is a minor character from The Infiltrator chapter. He is one of the strongest ninjas of the Enma Ninja Clan. He is the one that recommends Oboromaru to his leader, sending him on his mission.
Background
Before The Infiltrator
He was sent to rescue Ryoma Sakamoto from Ode Castle. However, he failed his mission and had to return to the main base of the Enma Ninja Clan. There, he recommended his leader to send Oboromaru into his mission due to him being way more skilled than most of the best members of the clan despite being so young. He also gives Oboromaru his Shadowed Self, which allows someone to stay hidden.
During The Infiltrator
He only appears as an enemy during the Outcast ending of the chapter as the last enemy Oboromaru encounters. If he is beaten in combat, he will commit suicide causing an explosion, killing Oboromaru.
Personality
Not much is seen of Hayate but what little can be seen is he is very loyal and also a strict follower to the law of the shinobi. If the player chooses to abandon the mission and go the outcast route, Hayate will eventually catch up to Oboromaru and explain that he has to die due to his betrayal to the clan and the law of the shinobi.
