Phoenix Call (Phoenix Fire) is a move that is learned by Oboromaru at Level 12.
Description
Wield shinobi fire arts to summon a host of raging phoenix to torment enemies.
Animation
Original: The user calls down eight fire phoenixes to attack enemies in a large area.
Remake: The user leaps into the air as a fiery orb appears, which transforms into a phoenix. The phoenix dives towards the ground, then becomes a whirling firestorm that scorches the ground and enemies in a large area.
In Battle
It is a high damage medium range technique with a large area of effect. It's damage is based on Oboromaru's IQ Stat. It takes some turns to charge so it is best used when Oboromaru is in a full party so that he can safely prepare the attack.
Alternate acquisition
Oboromaru can acquire the ability before level 12 on the 4th floor attic by battling the Icons of Flame there. He needs to goad the statues into casting it by using Waterspout to weaken then with floor damage then wait for them to weaken and cast it. Standing on a water tile will reduce the power of their flame attacks.
